What we collect
When you contact us through the contact form, by email or by phone, we process the information you give us: your name, company, email address, phone number and your message. When you visit the website, technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit are processed so that the website works and is protected against misuse. Non-essential cookies are only set if you consent to them in the cookie banner.

Why we process your data, and on what legal basis

  • To answer and follow up on your enquiry: our legitimate interest in answering business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)).
  • To prepare quotes and handle orders, service and returns: steps before entering into a contract, or performing a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To meet legal obligations, for example bookkeeping rules (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • Non-essential cookies: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time in the cookie settings.

Who processes the data
Our website runs on Shopify, which processes data on our behalf. The contact form is protected against spam with hCaptcha, provided by Intuition Machines, Inc. in the United States. Messages sent through the form are delivered to our email address info@intersonic.fi, and we use IT service providers within our group of companies. Shopify and hCaptcha may process data outside the EU/EEA; such transfers are based on appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision. We do not sell personal data.

How long we keep the data
Enquiries and customer relationship data are kept for up to five years after our last contact, and longer only where the law requires it, for example under bookkeeping rules.

Your rights
You have the right to request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, and to data portability. Contact us at info@intersonic.fi. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Finland the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman (www.tietosuoja.fi).
